Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide and transferred to your hotel. Depending on arrival time, enjoy a guided city experience including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, local art galleries and craft markets, or an optional cultural walk in Nyamirambo. Overnight: KigaliAfter breakfast, depart for Nyungwe Forest National Park (approx. 5–6 hours). Enjoy a scenic drive through Rwanda's rolling hills, tea plantations, and rural landscapes. En route, optional stops in Nyanza at the King's Palace Museum and the Ethnographic Museum in Huye. Arrive in Nyungwe in the afternoon and check in at your lodge, surrounded by one of Africa's oldest rainforests.
Overnight: NyungweEarly morning transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before your chimpanzee trekking experience. Track chimpanzees through the dense forest; you may also encounter other forest-dwelling primates such as colobus monkeys and L'Hoest's monkeys. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch then during the afternoon head back into the forest for the famous canopy walkway — suspended high above the forest floor, offering stunning aerial views of the rainforest, a unique perspective on biodiversity and excellent photography opportunities.
Overnight: NyungweAfter breakfast, depart Nyungwe and journey north to Volcanoes National Park (approx. 6–7 hours). This is a scenic cross-country drive showcasing Rwanda's diverse landscapes — from rainforest to terraced hills and volcanic regions. Arrive in Musanze in the late afternoon and check in at your lodge near the park.
Overnight: MusanzeAfter an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for briefing and gorilla group allocation. Set off on your once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking adventure through the bamboo forests and volcanic slopes. Trekking duration varies (1–6 hours depending on gorilla location). Upon encountering a gorilla family, spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat — an intimate and powerful wildlife experience. Return to the lodge in the afternoon for relaxation.

Track these lively and playful primates in the bamboo forests — an energetic and photogenic encounter, offering a different perspective from gorilla trekking. After the trek, return to the lodge for an early lunch before departing for Kigali (approx. 2.5–3 hours). Transfer to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight.

Search for lions, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, and leopards while enjoying the beauty of Rwanda’s only savannah park. Return to the lodge in the evening for a private candlelit three-course dinner overlooking Lake Ihema under the African night sky.
Akagera Safari campEnjoy a relaxed breakfast overlooking the park before departing for Lake Kivu. The journey takes you through Kigali and the scenic terraced hills of western Rwanda. Upon arrival at your lakeside lodge, settle into your private waterfront room and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. A romantic room setup with flowers and a bottle of wine awaits you. In the evening, watch local fishermen head onto the lake in traditional canoes while singing rhythmic songs across the water.
